call me crazy...

i love having Fridays off.

breakfast at Cracker Barrel is so good. especially with the super great service!! it says they are hiring...hmmmmm

i knit for four hours total today. not all at once, ouch .that'd hurt my hands. maybe 30 minutes at a time, then breaks. but i need to get this shawl done. deadlines!

i applied at the Naperville Sun. we shall see.

i normally listen to talk radio, and baseball games. occasionally i pop a CD in the computer. today i turned on my CD player just to see what was in it.

Christmas music. heh. goes to show how often i use it. may as well leave it in there since it's already August....

tomorrow is work 8 hours, then babysitting. maybe a starbucks break in between; i have a free coupon. i can knit after i put the boys to bed! sweet.

next week will be crazy busy. i already packed in my day off (tuesday) and i am busy most evenings already (mon, tues, wed, thurs) WOW

EDIT: this is the pie i wanted the other night. but we went to the weird bakers square. my bro brought this home for me:

looks like: (from bottom) crust, jelly, PB cream, jelly, cake or what could possibly be white bread, jelly, whipped cream with nuts and that peanut thing. hmmm. hope it's good!

it's payday...

i generally seem to forget it is pay day. like, every single Thursday i forget. because i have direct deposit, and i also have no monthly bills. but that will soon change, i think.

as soon as i get a full-time job, i need to come up with a budget that includes: ranges for rent, car payment, car insurance, gas and maintenance, loan repayment, food, entertainment, savings, etc. to see if i can even afford the car i want. it's a nice, dependable little car. well, we will wait a bit for reviews to come out to make sure. but toyotas are good.

time to go the gym and then knit a bit before a quick 4-hour shift of reading tiny dates on cans...this week it's....mac n cheese, hamburger helper, etc. that whole side of the aisle. next week is pet food again. hmmm.

one more pie date is in order before they're gone.

today was a day with no knitting *gasp* bummer!

but i worked 5-1, and got lots done. and talked to greg to which his response was "let me think about it." i know he cannot give a yes/no answer immediately, but still. that was not a promising answer. i did buy more yarn for knitting today. more flower yarn for my wedding they are so pretty.

is pie on for tomorrow night? need to make a call...because we need a photo, too!

i love cooking! i forgot how much i did until i have been doing it lately. i need to start writing my recipes down though. because i make them up as i go along, and then i will not be able to make them again. they could be entered in contests! like my lemon garlic chicken and pasta. similar to each other. a nice complement, even though they are kinda the same. they have a secret ingredient in them!!! and tonight i made a pasta bake with grandma's fresh moo-cow. mmmmm. this beef is the best, no doubt.

i think i will go knit a few rows. but then bed. i am tired. after work i stopped at home to change, went to another Jewel for groceries for dinner and to visit someone. and then stopped at Hobby Lobby. then John's Christian store where it took them FORever to understand i wanted the Passion DVD and NOT the CD. they will call when they get it in. even though Louie says on his blog it is in Christian bookstores today, and mainstrem stores in two weeks, but they will not get it til then. will try another store and if not, wait til B&N has it. sheesh.

then i went to the gym, and then cooked and cooked and cooked to make dinner and dessert. i think i'm gonna like this cooking for two thing, and having leftovers for lunch. i had enough for 4 pasta lunches tonight. mmmmmmm. then we turned on both sprinklers on the lawn (makes me think of a BNL song, hehe), and the dishwasher, and then i tried to take a hot shower. haha. silly me.

i have more ministry opportunities at church! something to occupy me during first service instead of lazily sleeping in. yay!

guess that's about it! tomorrow is the last day this week i have to get up so darn early!! then the last SSBB (for me!) hahahahaha

EDIT: oh yeah. it's cold in here. they were here allll day and we have shiny new things in the basement and a huge thing outside. oh, air. how much we love our comfort, eh?

EDIT AGAIN: tomrrow is the day i talk to Greg about my promotion. he wasn't there by the time I left work at 10 today. because he was still waiting for Comcast to show up. must be nice to be the boss.

this week is totally busy. i work 33 hours, 3 of the days, including tomorrow, at 5am. ugh. i also have SSBB Wednesday, and i need to call Play it Again Sports, and try and hang out with Brian, and maybe pie with two of my favorite people, and then Aubrie comes home!!! and i babysit saturday...do you know i have never actually babysat? like, been at a house not my own with children? at least i know these lovely boys... Carlos, Danny, and AJ. and i love them. they are a lot of fun. so that should be really cool!!

i need to go to the gym monday, tuesday, wednesday, and friday. four days sounds good. i cannot go saturday for sure. and thursday i work at night...at 5. but i like the gym at 3pm. so that's cutting it too close.
